General Information
The Château Tanunda Barossa Marathon Festival is held every year starting in the scenic vineyard-surrounded Tanunda. The event attracts runners from right across the world, wanting to challenge their fitness levels in the marathon (42.2km), half marathon (21.1km), 10km and 5km events. The course is very flat, perfect for those wanting a quick time or ‘personal best’.

Friday 26 May – 11.00am - 4.30pm – Sportitude, 20 Manton St Hindmarsh SA
Saturday 27 May – 9.00am - 12.00pm – Sportitude, 20 Manton St Hindmarsh SA
Saturday 27 May – 2.00pm - 5.00pm Race Village, Château Tanunda, 9 Basedow Rd, Tanunda SA 5352 (NEW LOCATION)
Race Day Village
The race village will be situated at The Rex, Barossa Aquatic Centre on Magnolia Rd. The start, 42.2km turn and Finish will all be on Magnolia Rd in front of the Aquatic Centre. We will have full use of the centre's toilet and shower facilities as well as one of their basketball courts for Bib Collection, Merchandise sales and Bag Drop. Race Day Parking:
Access to parking on race morning is from Barossa Valley Way along Magnolia Rd or from Neldner Rd onto Magnolia Rd as was the case in previous years. Parking will be in The Rex car park or along Magnolia Rd bordering Faith Lutheran College. Suggested route to avoid road closures: MAP
Please note that due to the limited parking at the Rex and surrounds, parking is going to be difficult to find. Please consider carpooling where possible.
Also note that there is roadworks on the Gomersal Rd leading into Tanunda. I've been assured that both lanes will be open race day however there will be a reduced speed limit in effect. Please allow for this and finding parking in you race plan.
